• We never ask for a photo of your child, and none is uploaded or stored.
• We only ever use a child's first name — no surname, no address, no date of birth.
• We never sell or rent your details, and there is no advertising on the site.
• You will only get marketing emails if you ask for them.
• Email support@mytinytales.co.uk and we will delete a story, or your whole account, on request.

Fellow Lands Tales, a UK-based sole trader, is the data controller for the information described here. Contact us at support@mytinytales.co.uk.

• Your account: your email address and login details, so you can sign in and so we can send order and story-ready emails. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
• Your story choices: the child's first name, age band, chosen world, the lesson and the character traits. These are kept with each story so you can return to your library and play it again. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
• The story itself: the written text, the cover artwork and the narrated audio file.
• Your orders: what you bought, the amount, the currency and the reference Stripe gives the payment. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles the payment itself.
• Your private listening link: a unique token so your stories can be played on your phone, tablet, smart speaker or any player that accepts a listening link, without anyone else finding them.
• Support messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email, so we can reply. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
• Basic technical logs kept by our hosting to keep the site secure and working.

The account holder is always an adult. A child never signs in and never gives us anything directly. The only detail about a child we hold is a first name and an age band, supplied by their parent or guardian so the story can be personalised. If you would rather not use a real name, a nickname works just as well. You can ask us to delete any story, and its name, at any time.

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. They may only process information on our instructions and never for their own purposes:

• Payment processor — takes payment and holds the billing details you give at checkout.
• Hosting, database and file-storage provider — runs the site and stores your audio.
• Story-generation partner — turns the child's choices into the written story.
• Voice-narration partner — records the spoken audiobook in one of our British storyteller voices.
• Email delivery service — sends order confirmations, story-ready notices and account emails.
• Advertising measurement partner — helps us understand whether our ads lead to sales.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to understand whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to buy a story pack. Google may set cookies or use other storage to recognise the same browser across visits. We do not share your child's name or story details with Google; only the fact that a purchase happened, the order value and the order reference may be sent for measurement. You can accept or reject these measurement cookies at any time using the banner or the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Stories and account details stay with us for as long as your account is open, so your library keeps working — credits never expire, so neither do the stories they made. Order records are kept for six years because tax law requires it. Delete your account and everything else goes with it, usually within 30 days.

You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct anything wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Just email support@mytinytales.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We use the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to complete a payment securely, plus cookies that help us measure whether our Google Ads bring families to Fellow Lands Tales. You can accept or reject the advertising measurement cookies at any time using the banner or the Cookie settings link in the footer.
